Going to Argentina...Need Gear Advice

I'm headed to Las Lenas, Argentina in August. Will most likely be doing some back-country skiing. I've never had this experience and don't know what to expect. I'm looking for suggestions on gear, specifically skies and bindings. Are touring bindings a must have? Should I be skiing on anything less than 100cm under-foot? Has anyone been to Las Lenas and would know what to expect?
