I have my old SS, which I love....ski great here in the East.. Also my Stockli Laser SC, but they need to be going super fast before they react well, and that gets tiring. I have some Stockli Snake BCs when I thought it would be fun to have some powder skis, and something for park practice as my resort wanted more of us to teach park stuff. A new ACL made me reconsider that idea.
when I had them on the hill and tipped them, it was like heeling over on a laser sailboat...they'd slowly tip and start a very broad deeply carved turn....rock stable, but it really challenged my balance being out there. They are now on kijiji....much rather get some new SS and perhaps Stockli sl....
Little change to demo skis here unfortunately....even though we are in Ontario, the number of people who show up with wide powder skis is insane...they drank the kool-aid, and can't figure out why it's so hard to turn....
