Different season but same old story. Ted wins by .79 over Pinterault and 1.02 over Hisrcher in warm, soft conditions. The three best skiers in the world were on the podium. Bode Miler finished and was 19th. Hirscher may have shown some resignation with his comments after the race saying: "This season much is expected of me. In the first (run) I have done real hard. But the second was a delight. The second passage gives me a lot of confidence. Now it’s cool. Now I’m back on the podium,” remarked Hirscher. You would think that satisfaction for him would only come with a win. It's early this season but it still appears that when Ted is at his best, no one can beat him.
Balance: Essential in skiing and in life!
