Urgently need instructor manual in Australia

Postby geoffsep1963 » Wed Dec 13, 2006 7:19 pm

g'day all,

I just discovered Harold's system a few days ago. Finally something that makes sense.

My problem is that I need to get the manual in Australia before next Friday. I have a unique opportunity to get two first time ever skiers to not develop bad habits.

I emailed the local distributer a few days ago, but no reply.

I see two alternatives

1. purchase a new manual to be shipped to someone else and they let me have their old one.

2. some kind of express international courier which may or may not make it in time.

Any thoughts or help will be appreciated.

Regards

Geoff

Hey, peter might take a day or 2 to respond. I don't think he will have the instructor manuals in stock though.
He will be in aus for a few weeks still before going to Canada.
Try also peter@harbskisystems.com.au or the office number (03) 9696 7622

He can send you his Manual. I'll get him a new one when he comes to Canada.

Peter's mobile number in Australia is 0410651609
He was in Sydney (with Scottie) yesterday (Saturday 16th)
Otherwise what about working thru' Version 1+2 of "anyone can....", they're linear in approach and supplementing with the new book?

thanks for the help everyone.

Peter got me books 1 & 2 and I couldn't put them down. Finished book 2 this morning.

I watched the dvd's after reading the books and can't believe how much sense the system makes. What amazes me is in my own way I was skiing very much like this years ago. BEFORE I had a lesson!

Anyway, will be leaving tropical Queensland on Wednesday for Niseko and look forward to getting two raw beginers skiing decent turns the first day.

Thanks again everyone and especially HH for actually publishing his secrets.

Have a great Christmas,

Geoff

Have a great time in Niseko mate! If you havent been I suggest heading over to Annipuri (on the other side of Niseko) for less human traffic as Hirafu gets a little crowded.

Let me know what the partys are like there during new years!!

Cheers,
Sidney

I'll leave the crits to others more qualified than me, but good for you for finding PMTS.

Just wanted to say that Japan at that time of the year can be quite touch and go for lots of snow let alone powder. If you're able, you're better off going there a little later. Looks like you had some decent cover though. Parts of Honshu really lost out over Chrissy. It's only really starting to dump now, seems like a late start to the season this year actually. I probably won't get anywhere till later this month.
