Durable ski

Postby BigE » Mon Mar 05, 2007 5:16 pm

I'm looking for a ski that can withstand several seasons of use under a strong 250 lb carving skier, that is gate capable. As the home hill is tiny, a 21M sidecut is not reasonable.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

How about an FIS Slalom ski. Just don't take it in any big bumps.

I think you'll get more responses by posting your question in the realskiers site gear forum. The hardcore gearaholics hang out there. Ignore all the spam that's getting thru, you really don't need any treatment.

That would mean $ to join as I let my subscription expire years ago.

Stockli has two new SL and GS FIS skis coming out next season, and with them, you get the same ski the real racers use. They are fast and well made but $$$$$$$

Goode claims that their skis NEVER lose their pop.

That would be a cool experiment.

Pretty cheap investment given how much skis cost.
Good group of folks there, mostly PMTS but not entirely.
