I tuned and waxed three pairs of skis yetserday and this was a first for me. This is not really news, but I generally am a moron when it comes to anything that involves hand tools. I would never have attempted this had it not been for the poor experience that I have had in local shops who do ski tuning. I never know what I will get and I figured I would be beter off doing it myself from a quality control standpoint.
For those that haven't seen it, there is a great ski tuning section to the Harbskisystems website http://www.harbskisystems.com/tuningindex.htm
I followed the directions on it and it is pretty idiot proof. It aslo has a list of necessary tools and other items.
