And what colour green is that Carson?

Judging from the skiing I'd say SPRING green.

Every 80s color is back in fashion. Just not so fluorescent this time around.

That basi stuff is unbelievable! Nearly made me puke. My mantra these days is ' sure there are many ways to turn a ski but I only want to turn like the best skiers in the world do and pmts shows me how to do that'.

I've seen exactly that. The ones who've heard of HH have a strong dislike, although they can't explain why. They love PSIA, and he actively doesn't, so he's gott'a be a bad guy.

I never read so many incorrect informations in just 10 pages.

First of all semplicity in this case is a Devil's trap, I remember my (great!)
Professor of Mechanics of Structures telling us at the University :
" Every complex problem has a simple solution : THE WRONG ONE!!!"

Second, being a sport professional and instructor I studied extensively
biomechanics at the National school and I can assert with cognitio causae
that there is not a minimum, I said a minimum, understanding of biomechanic.

When I've asked PSIA top dogs who are considered to know something deep about skiing about things I've read in proceedings of the quadrennial International Congresses of Science and Skiing, they just get blank looks on their faces. They have no knowledge of the why nor the wherefore. Every year they come up with something new just to have something new, and it never works better, often worse, that the movements that aren't officially replaced. They know little and teach much. Not good.

From the Mammoth ski school page

This one, I don't know what to make of. She is demonstrating lift (!) and tip for her pizza and frying students.

The first guy deserves the "come on, Man!". I don't know about the second....he could be trying to break the wedge.

That's what was puzzling, I've never seen any Mammoth instructors doing anything resembling a phantom move. Maybe she's checking for gum on the bottom of her ski?
Seriously, all she's doing is lifting and tipping and she's skiing far better than the first guy's contrived "steer the skis into counter while trying to angulate" efforts. Ski school better hope that parents aren't expecting their kids to ski like her that after their lessons!

There's a current thread on Epic asking how to get a heel pusher to change his patterns and the answer seems to be pivot slips. :?
I guess some ways of twisting your feet are superior to others.

Yes makes total sense to me, push the heels more to stop heel pushing. Nice!! :D
