Thank you for asking. Skiing is getting popular here for the past few years. There are a few places for skiiing near Beijing, but don't expect anything close to what you find in Canada or Colorato. We don't have much snow here. Winter here has always been cold and dry, but it is getting warmer these years, and dry.
Wanlong and Dolomiti, two ski resorts I will go next week, are about 4 hours drive from Beijing. The altitude of Chongli, where the two resorts are located, is 1000 meter higher than Beijing, so it is really cold there. Lack of natrual snow, they used snow cannons to make snow anyway. I hope there will be more than two trails open in each of them next week. These two are about the best I can get.
