Just call him "PMTS Grange", for short.
If you watch this, and I'm sure Max can dig up the exact comments and context, when Bob Barnes (the all mighty smart one; leader of the Epic band of merry men) said PMTS was useless, my book was useless and no one used PMTS movements.
Well watch this closely, you might see what the best slalom skiers in the world are doing. Even if Bob Barnes, the great PSIA guru, can't see straight. Maybe his proctologist can tell him where to look.
1. At the end of the arc, flex the old stand leg
2. Lift the old downhill stance ski and boot, or outside ski and boot
3. Tip and flex the inside leg
4. And how he pulls and keeps his inside foot back. Well Done, Mr. Grange, but you would fail the Bob Barnes skiing test.
Grange is not extending off the uphill leg, he is not pivoting his skis, he's not steering his legs or his skis. So tell me please, someone, even Bob, if he had the kahones to come over here, what the hell did Bob ever get right about skiing?
Thought we might as well get this season off to a great start.
