Nice work HK. Shoot, for some reason I thought you'd been aligned, so I kept my mouth shut, but that problem you have with pushing your hip could be alignment related. Pushing the outside hip to release is a common symptom of gross overcanting. If you are bowlegged, your uphill ski will start in a heavily edged position and if the bowleggedness is severe enough, it may be difficult to release the ski solely through tipping. If that is what is going on with you, fixing your alignment will have a tremendous effect on your skiing. Meanwhile, excellent job working the movements to overcome that (if it is, in fact, an issue). Keep up the good work!
